This is great training for all of those running the RAGNAR!!
Meet at 7am at the main lot of South Mountain.
Our team speedster- Thatcher will be leading the way!
Directions:
From 1-10 take Baseline west
Turn South on Central Ave (left)
Follow Central all the way- it will drop you at south mountain.
At the first guard house take a left, and another left into the parking lot.
This run is all asphalt. Please remember to bring water.
there are bathrooms off of parking lot, as will as at main guard house.

Squaw Peak Hike
Hi there!
I’m planning another hike this week located in Central Phoenix. This course is a stair-climber all the way up and will be a great challenge for those who want to get in hiking shape bun burner. It is a good 2 hour hike for first timers. Let’s meet Sunday morning at 9 am in the parking lot. Please let me know who is planning on being there as I will guide the way.
Piestew Peak/Squaw Peak
Trail #300 - Summit Trail
Length: 1.2 miles
Elevation: 2,608 ft. - 1,400 ft. (hikers gain more than 1,200 feet in elevation on this trail)
Hiking trail only
Difficulty: Strenuous and Difficult
The trailhead is located in the parking lot at the first driveway on the left in Phoenix Mountains Park and Recreation Area. To reach the trail to the summit of Piestewa Peak, turn east on Squaw Peak Drive from Lincoln Drive between 22nd and 24th streets. Paved parking, drinking water and restrooms are available.
