Bike Fitting tips/notes
1 - Saddle Heigths
- hips parallel to the ground
- Crank Arms are inline with seat tube
- Down side leg - 10 to 20 degrees bent
*1cm can have drastic impact
2. Fore aft seat position
- Crank arms parallel with ground
- drop plum line from bottom of knee cap
- line should bisect the pedal axel
*if plum line falls in front, then move seat back and vice versa
3. Horizontal body position
- put arms on handle bars
- sight the front hub relative to the handle bars
- handle bars should obscure the front hub
-adjust handle bar stem as needed
45 degree angle
- this will vary depending on riders comfort (narrower for more air dynamic)
4. handle bar width
shoulder to width
5. Crank arm legnth
165, 170, 175 mm
- 5'5" 165 mm
- 5'6" - 5'5" 170 mm
- 5'10" - 6' 172.5 mm
>6'1" 175mm
6. Saddle Angle
ball of your foot should be in the center of cleat plate
