Trail run this weekend - and a brief TRIbe update!

Hola! I hope everyone has been able to enjoy some down time over the past couple of weekends, perhaps catch up on some movies (Alice and Wonderland ROCKS!), or pull out some weeds outside, getting a massage or two, and hopefully had a little bit more extra time to even snuggle in with your significant other...LOL! Really, as the spring season is upon us, we should totally take advantage of what mother nature has given us in terms of the weather outside. So, I hope WE keep on doing what we do best...and that is schedule and recruit for group runs, trail runs, hiking, drinking BEER, flip cups, and of course - promote healthy lifestyles to peeps that truly cares!

So, for this Saturday morning at 7am (7:30sh) - Let's do the trail run at south mountain park. Some folks have done this before, so for you the expert trail runners will be the captains for this trail run. No pets or complainers allowed. Sorry Sara - no pets, and Greg...peace be with you bro!

I will post the meeting place, map, and location soon!

UPCOMING EVENTS in the next couple of months. Let's try to keep everyone informed on which racing events we are individually doing. This will keep the TRIbe connected and alive...

- Pat Tillman Run/Volunteer April 17th
- LOS PALOMAS TRIATHLON RACE - April 23-25. (long list of peeps)
- SheRoX - I understand we have a handful of women from this group that will be participating in this event. That is fantastic! I've started recruiting for volunteers to support the women's triathlon race! So if you know anyone that would like to volunteer and support the triathlete women on the field, please have them contact me, as I will set them up with Red Rock Inc for volunteer perks and cool stuff.

- Rock n Roll Marathon - San Diego (June 6th) Jeff and Derek are committed on doing the 1/2 marathon. We would love to get more peeps to join us. It should be an awesome experience.

More to come

GODSPEED

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
